The advanced 3D-Forensics/FTI 3D-Scanner and 3D analysis software prototypes were delivered on loan to the RIS Carabinieri (The “Scientific Investigation Unit of the Carabinieri Corps” in Italy).

On the day members of RIS Carabinieri received training and participated in “round robin” tests. The “round robin” tests are contributing to the developmental validation of the system and are focussed on testing the consistency of measurement precision (reproducibility) in terms of resolution and accuracy.

In the next 3-4 months RIS Carabinieri will have the opportunity to test the advanced prototypes and to provide valuable feedback to the project team.
